Info - Net2 Plus is a network-based access control system. Such a system offers the possibility of centralised management, event notification and flexible control over user access authorisations. Each door control centre is part of the network, but can also work independently. It makes its own decisions and saves events.The Net2 Plus door control centre is connected to the management computer with an RJ45 plug via a normal TCP/IP network. This greatly increases the flexibility of installation in buildings with LAN/WAN networks. The Net2 Plus door control centre also has an RS485 connection. This allows it to be connected to other Net2 Plus or Net2 Classic door control units via a CAT5 cable.A Net2 Plus door control unit can also act as an interface to a LAN for an RS485 connection (daisy chain) of other Net2 Plus or Net2 Classic door control units so that they no longer require a TCP/IP interface.Door control units are sold as an assembly, in a plastic housing or with a 2 A power supply in a plastic housing.

About - The Net2 software is designed for operation on a PC with Windows operating systems. A complete list of compatible operating systems for Net2 can be foundat here. It manages and documents up to 50,000 users and 1,000 doors. There are two versions of the software: Net2 Lite, free and ideal for the majority of sites, and Net2 Pro, with additional features for flexible and advanced access control.Net2 Lite includes all the features required for access control, access rights management and user documentation. Additional features include unlimited free client logins, CCTV, basic functions for the integration of intruder alarm systems and location graphics.Net2 Pro has all the features of Net2 Lite software with advanced time and attendance and timeline features, integrating time management, fire and intruder alarms with multiple alarm zones. Security locking, dual use control and card designer are useful enhancements.Net2 site management made easy with Paxton Connect Adminpaxton Connect Admin, offers simple and flexible site management for Net2 system engineers and Net2 operators. Our new app includes five features in one smart interface, allowing you and your customers to manage multiple sites from one smartphone.Installation - Setup and configuration are straightforward. The simple installation wizard guides you through the setup process. The control units are identified and named according to their serial number, with which each unit is labelled. Control units can also be given meaningful names. Each control unit is configured by the Net2 software as required.Operation - Net2 operators must be added. These are users who are authorised to manage the software. There are different authorisation levels to restrict access to certain functions. Each operator must log in to the software with a user name and password. This is logged as an event.The software is intuitive to use and even the most complex functions can be carried out easily and without training. After about two hours, you will be familiar with the operation of the software.

Info - The Info-P series readers are suitable for Switch2 and Net2 systems. The readers are only supplied with a dark-coloured cover cap. Caps in other colours are available. These and replacement caps are available free of charge to registered installers of Paxton systems. The P-Series readers are available in four sizes.The majority of our Paxton readers are now equipped with Genuine HID Technology™. The readers can read HID™ 125 kHz proximity transponders when licensed with an activation card. If required, these readers can be activated for a Wiegand output via a separate activation card.Installation - The reader connection cable is connected to the door control unit according to the colour coding. Installation is simple and can be carried out accurately.Operation - A transponder is held in the area of the reading distance. The reader forwards the read information to the door control unit. If the transponder is recognised as authorised, the green LED flashes and access is granted. The red LED flashes and access is denied if the transponder is invalid.

Info - Proximity key fob sets are for proximity compact, Easyprox compact and Switch2 systems. The intuitive principle with the associated delete cards makes handling easier. Delete cards for issued key fobs are stored in the card folder. Installation - During commissioning, the group start card of the first key fob set is used on the reader. If further sets are to be stored, e.g. at a later date, the group start card of the first set is used again and then the group start card of the next set. Functions are programmed with the programming cards of the set. Set door release time: Sets how long the door should be opened.Connect closed-circuit door opener: Only use with proximity compact and Easyprox compact. proximity compact: Using this card changes the function of the relay for the electric strike so that closed-circuit electric strikes can be connected. After using this programming card again, normally closed electric strikes can be connected again. Easyprox compact: Using this card opens the lock. Using it again closes the door.Suppress acoustic signals: The reader's acoustic signals are cancelled. If this programming card is used again, the acoustic signals are switched on again (only for compact systems). Operation - Each key fob is in a plastic bag with its corresponding delete card. After commissioning, all key fobs are immediately valid and can be issued. When a key fob is issued, it is issued to the user and the user's name is written on the corresponding delete card. The user can now use their key fob. The same procedure is followed for all other users. If a missing user key fob is to become invalid, simply remove the corresponding delete card from the card folder and use it on the reader. This prevents misuse.
