Stand Alone Compact Proximity Reader - P38

Product information "Stand Alone Compact Proximity Reader - P38"

Info - Compact is an access control system for one door. All the electronics are located in the reader housing. Compact systems can be installed on many doors in one location, all using the same tokens.

P-Series readers are supplied with black covers only. Replacement bezels are available in black and white/grey and can be ordered free of charge by Paxton registered installers via the Paxton Portal free of charge.

Installation - The compact reader has two wires connected to the lock and two wires connected to the power supply. There are two wires for connection to an output button if required. The cable exits from the centre of the back of the reader, which makes drilling and mounting very precise.

Be sure to avoid mounting on metal surfaces or near other proximity readers as this will affect the read range. After installation, place the registration card in front of the reader. All tokens in the pack are now valid. This completes the installation.

Operation - The user tokens are valid and ready for use once installation is complete. Each user token is supplied with a corresponding shadow card. When user tokens are issued, the name of the user is noted on the shadow card. If a user is to be blocked or a user token is lost, the shadow card marked with the user's name is presented to all readers on site. This simple procedure renders the user token invalid. A new user token can be issued for this user.

Additional functions can be programmed with the PROXIMITY function card package. These functions include zoning, which allows you to limit access by token colour.

Proximity card for standalone system red - 10 pieces
Info - PROXIMITY card sets are suitable for PROXIMITY compact, Easyprox compact and Switch2 systems with PROXIMITY readers. The cards are in card folders. The intuitive principle with delete cards facilitates handling.Installation - During commissioning, the group start card of the first transponder set is used on the reader. If further transponder sets are to be stored, e.g. at a later date, the group start card of the first set is used again and then the group start card of the next set. Further functions are programmed with the programming cards of the set.Set door release time: Sets how long the door should be opened.Connect closed-circuit door opener: Only use with PROXIMITY compact and Easyprox compact. PROXIMITY compact: Using this card changes the function of the relay for the electric strike so that closed-circuit electric strikes can be connected. After using this programming card again, normally closed electric strikes can be connected again. Easyprox compact: Using this card opens the lock. Using it again closes the door.Suppress acoustic signals: The reader's acoustic signals are cancelled. If this programming card is used again, the acoustic signals are switched on again (only for compact systems).Operation - The user cards and their corresponding delete cards are in card folders. After commissioning, all user cards are immediately valid and can be issued. When a user card is issued, it is issued to the user and their name is written on the corresponding delete card. The user can now use their card. The same procedure is followed for all other users. If a missing user card is to become invalid, simply remove the corresponding delete card from the card folder and use it on the reader. This prevents misuse.

Stand Alone Compact Proximity Reader - P75
Info - The Info-P series readers are suitable for Switch2 and Net2 systems. The readers are only supplied with a dark-coloured cover cap. Caps in other colours are available. These and replacement caps are available free of charge to registered installers of Paxton systems. The P-Series readers are available in four sizes.Installation - Compact readers have one wire pair for controlling the electric strike and one wire pair for the power supply. An exit button is optionally connected to the third pair of wires. All wire pairs are routed out of the centre back of the reader. This facilitates precise installation. Installation on metal surfaces and in the immediate vicinity of other contactless readers should be avoided, as the reading range is impaired in these cases. After installation, the group start card is used and all transponders and cards from the set are immediately valid. Done!Operation - After installation, the user transponders are immediately valid and ready for use. Each user transponder is supplied with a corresponding delete card. When a user transponder is issued, it is issued to the user and the user's name is written on the corresponding delete card. If a missing user transponder is to be blocked, the corresponding delete card is simply applied to the reader. This simple process invalidates the transponder. Another transponder can then be issued to the user.Further functions are programmed with PROXIMITY programming cards for additional functions. This includes, for example, the creation of access areas.
