Proximity card for standalone system red - 10 pieces

Product information "Proximity card for standalone system red - 10 pieces"

Info - PROXIMITY card sets are suitable for PROXIMITY compact, Easyprox compact and Switch2 systems with PROXIMITY readers. The cards are in card folders. The intuitive principle with delete cards facilitates handling.

Installation - During commissioning, the group start card of the first transponder set is used on the reader. If further transponder sets are to be stored, e.g. at a later date, the group start card of the first set is used again and then the group start card of the next set. Further functions are programmed with the programming cards of the set.

Set door release time: Sets how long the door should be opened.

Connect closed-circuit door opener: Only use with PROXIMITY compact and Easyprox compact. PROXIMITY compact: Using this card changes the function of the relay for the electric strike so that closed-circuit electric strikes can be connected. After using this programming card again, normally closed electric strikes can be connected again. Easyprox compact: Using this card opens the lock. Using it again closes the door.

Suppress acoustic signals: The reader's acoustic signals are cancelled. If this programming card is used again, the acoustic signals are switched on again (only for compact systems).

Operation - The user cards and their corresponding delete cards are in card folders. After commissioning, all user cards are immediately valid and can be issued. When a user card is issued, it is issued to the user and their name is written on the corresponding delete card. The user can now use their card. The same procedure is followed for all other users. If a missing user card is to become invalid, simply remove the corresponding delete card from the card folder and use it on the reader. This prevents misuse.

Handsfree key fob for Switch2, green, 10 pieces
Product number: 860-010G-D
Info - The term "hands-free access control" means that the transponder can be read from a pocket or handbag to identify the person. It is not necessary to hold the transponder in your hand. This system is particularly suitable for doors used by disabled or elderly people. The hands-free transponders, together with the hands-free interface, achieve this through the use of unique radio technology. The keycards work like hands-free transponders, but have an additional function. When a button on the card is pressed, its reading range is briefly extended to typically 5 metres (maximum 50 metres). Installation - The hands-free transponders work with all PROXIMITY readers in the same way as conventional transponders. When P-series readers and KP-series readers with keypads are equipped with a hands-free interface, they achieve the long "hands-free" ranges. During system installation, the first transponder set is added by applying the group start card from the set. Subsequent sets are added by applying the original group start card followed by the group start card from the new set. The Handfree keycard is also suitable for longer ranges. A reading range of typically 5 metres (maximum 50 metres) can be achieved by pressing a button. Operation - The transponders are supplied in card folders. Each transponder, whether handsfree key fob or handsfree keycard, is packaged together with the corresponding delete card. Once the system has been commissioned, all user cards are valid and can be issued. When issuing the transponder, take the transponder out of the card folder and write the name of the person on the corresponding delete card. The person can now use the transponder to gain access. This process is repeated for all persons. If a transponder is to be blocked, take the corresponding delete card from the card folder and present it to the relevant readers in the building. The transponder is then invalid. The handsfree key fobs and keycards work in active and passive mode. They have a range of between 0.85 and 2.5 metres for all readers equipped with a hands-free interface and up to 5.0 metres for the long-range reader. In passive mode they work with all other Paxton Access proximity readers.

Net2 Plus - Door control centre/controller, module only
Product number: 682-493-D
About - Net2 Plus is a network-based access control system. Such a system offers the possibility of centralised management, event notification and flexible control of user access authorisations. Each door control centre is part of the network, but can also work independently. It makes its own decisions and saves events. The Net2 Plus door control centre is connected to the management computer with an RJ45 plug via a normal TCP/IP network. This greatly increases the flexibility of installation in buildings with LAN/WAN networks. The Net2 Plus door control centre also has an RS485 connection. This allows it to be connected to other Net2 Plus or Net2 Classic door control units via a CAT5 cable.A Net2 Plus door control unit can also act as an interface to a LAN for an RS485 connection (daisy chain) of other Net2 Plus or Net2 Classic door control units so that they no longer require a TCP/IP interface.Door control units are sold as an assembly, in a plastic housing or with a 2 A power supply in a plastic housing. Installation - There is a label on the Net2 Plus door control unit that clearly shows the colour-coded connections for reader, power supply, etc. The door control centre has a relay with potential-free contacts and can therefore control electric strikes or other opening drives. Door and tamper contacts, exit buttons and local alarm devices can also be connected.Door control centres communicate with the PC via the standard TCP/IP protocol of a LAN network. The Net2 Plus door control centre should be assigned a fixed IP address. All settings are made in the Net2 Configuration Utility. The corresponding connections are equipped with diagnostic LEDs, which are helpful for a trouble-free installation. Terminal resistors can be switched on or off as required. External terminal resistors are not required. Operation - All changes entered in the PC are immediately transmitted to the door control centre and stored there. When a user presents a transponder to a reader, the user is identified by the door control centre and access is granted or denied as appropriate.
