Handsfree key fob for Switch2, green, 10 pieces
Info - The term "hands-free access control" means that the transponder can be read from a pocket or handbag to identify the person. It is not necessary to hold the transponder in your hand. This system is particularly suitable for doors used by disabled or elderly people. The hands-free transponders, together with the hands-free interface, achieve this through the use of unique radio technology. The keycards work like hands-free transponders, but have an additional function. When a button on the card is pressed, its reading range is briefly extended to typically 5 metres (maximum 50 metres). Installation - The hands-free transponders work with all PROXIMITY readers in the same way as conventional transponders. When P-series readers and KP-series readers with keypads are equipped with a hands-free interface, they achieve the long "hands-free" ranges. During system installation, the first transponder set is added by applying the group start card from the set. Subsequent sets are added by applying the original group start card followed by the group start card from the new set. The Handfree keycard is also suitable for longer ranges. A reading range of typically 5 metres (maximum 50 metres) can be achieved by pressing a button. Operation - The transponders are supplied in card folders. Each transponder, whether handsfree key fob or handsfree keycard, is packaged together with the corresponding delete card. Once the system has been commissioned, all user cards are valid and can be issued. When issuing the transponder, take the transponder out of the card folder and write the name of the person on the corresponding delete card. The person can now use the transponder to gain access. This process is repeated for all persons. If a transponder is to be blocked, take the corresponding delete card from the card folder and present it to the relevant readers in the building. The transponder is then invalid. The handsfree key fobs and keycards work in active and passive mode. They have a range of between 0.85 and 2.5 metres for all readers equipped with a hands-free interface and up to 5.0 metres for the long-range reader. In passive mode they work with all other Paxton Access proximity readers.

Paxton10 - Single-door controller, with plastic housing
About – Paxton10 Door Controllers are the building blocks of the Paxton10 system. Each one provides control of a single door and a port to allow support for up to three Paxton10 Wireless Connectors for additional functionality. A single Paxton10 system can include up to 1000 door controllers. The Paxton10 door controller is a network device that communicates over TCP/IP and can be integrated into an existing network infrastructure. PoE+ – The Paxton10 PoE+ Door Controller is equipped with a built-in PoE+ splitter, with which it is possible to supply the door controller and door lock via PoE+, so no 230v connection is required at the door. We recommend using a TCP/IP network switch with PoE+ output. It is also possible to place a backup battery in the Paxton10 PoE+ Door Controller, if you want an extra backup in case of power failure, we recommend placing the switch behind a UPS. The door controller is equipped with 4 inputs, tamper, 230v fail, door contact and RTE. An intruder alarm can be integrated using the Paxton10 Alarm Connector The Paxton10 Door Controller – Plastic Enclosure provides a versatile solution for Paxton10 where centralised or low voltage power is already available. Mains and Power over Ethernet (PoE) powered options also available. This product is also available as a PCB only, without plastic enclosure. Installation – The wiring label on the Paxton10 Door Controller clearly shows colour coded connections for the readers, power supply, lock etc. The 12v output for the lock can be used to control any door, barrier or gate. Diagnostic LED’s indicate the status of the controller and its inputs and outputs. Controllers are connected directly to the network via TCP/IP. They are automatically visible in the Paxton10 software under the devices menu. Operation – Any changes made in the Paxton10 software are immediately communicated to the door controller. When a user presents their token to the reader, the control unit identifies them and permits or denies access as appropriate.

Paxton10 - Slimline reader
About - The Paxton10 Slimline reader combines multi-format technology with a compact design (48 mm wide post mount), making it a perfect fit for the Paxton10 system. Thanks to the integrated multi-format reading technology, the Paxton10 Slimline reader reads all common card and transponder types, including Paxton, EM, MIFARE® DESFIRE® CSN, HID® Prox 125kHz, FeliCa and NFC.Installation - The wires of the reader are colour coded so they can be connected to the corresponding colour terminals of a Paxton10 door or video controller. It is not recommended to mount the device on metal surfaces or near other proximity readers as this may affect the reading range. The cable exit is centred at the rear of the reader, allowing for extremely precise drilling and mounting. The reader is supplied with 5 metres of cable, although a further extension is possible with Belden 8723 cable.Operation - The transponder is read by holding it up to the reader. As soon as a transponder has been read, the control unit checks the access authorisations of this user. Access is then authorised or denied accordingly. The reader also supports three Bluetooth® operating modes when using smart identification media - transponder, touch input and long-range.
